Firestone FR710

The Firestone FR710 is a great Passenger-vehicle All-Season tire that combines a fantastically smooth ride with a low rate of wear, meaning these tires will last quite a while.  With its wide grooves you can be sure wet roads will rarely hinder your progress, as the width sheds water in excellent fashion while the consecutive shoulder ribs ensure that tread life is even further extended.  These tires are great on a wet or dry road, and even sustain well in light snow, giving you even more bang for your buck.

Using Firestone's groundbreaking UNI-T technology, which means Ultimate Network of Intelligent Tire Technology, made up of three great technological advancements in rubber tires  The picture above shows us the make up of a Firestone UNI-T tires:

1.  Tuned Performance - a Computer Optimized Component System (COCS):  This gives the tire the ideal shape made out of the choicest materials, yielding optimal performance without the giving up other areas of performance.
2.  Roll Rounder - O-Bead:  The technology that makes this tire so advanced is what keeps it together.  Strengthening the steel cables that bond the tire, there are many little "beads" that attach the tire to the wheel.  As the name implies, these "beads" are rounder than previous iterations of tires, which keeps the tire more round; this in turn amplifies the degree to which the ride is comfortable.
3.  Last Longer - Long Link Carbon:  By stretching the carbon molecule beyond its natural length results in a greater molecular pull.  This in turn keeps the rubber together in a more secure way and leads to longer tire life overall.

Firestone Destination A/T

These on-or-off-road capable wheels will certainly get the trick done in the mud season of Vermont.  Developed to meet the high demands of light truck drivers and molded with performance and aesthetics in mind, the Destination A/T's will fill both tall orders.  Featuring the UNI-T technology, these high performance tires seamlessly blend off-road traction and highway driving into a single excellent tire.

As with the FR170 series, the UNI-T technology combines Long Link Carbon to enhance tread life, enhance performance, and reduce resistance from the roads rough surface.  On the inside, extrememely strong steel cords are used to further lengthen tire life as well as keep the traction for a long portion of the tires life.  Combined with the O-beads mentioned above, this also allows the tires to give you a long lasting ride in comfort.  Using the Computer Optimized Component System, you can be even further assured that every tire is of the highest quality, never having a deformed quality.
